On the feast day of the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos, August 28, 2026, a festive service was celebrated at the Dormition Parish of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia in Dandenong (Victoria, Australia).
The Divine Liturgy on the patronal feast day was celebrated by Archpriest Mikhail Protopopov, Dean of the Southern District of the Australian and New Zealand Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia. Participating in the service were clergy of the Holy Trinity Parish of the Moscow Patriarchate in Melbourne: Archpriest Igor Filyanovsky, Rector of the parish; Priest Leonid Mikheychik; and Deacon Vyacheslav Raikunov.
